Market Assessment and Retail Stragey Study for Downtown Skokie

In January 2009 the Board approved retaining the consulting services of 4Insights to undertake a Market Assessment and Retail Strategy Study for Downtown Skokie.  A detailed PowerPoint presentation was presented to the Board of Trustees at the July 20, 2009 Village Board meeting.  Click here to view the PowerPoint presentation.

The design phase of the Downtown Skokie Swift Station is nearly complete and construction should begin shortly.  The rendering below shows what the station will look like upon completion.  The new station will be located north of Oakton Street and west of Skokie Boulevard adjacent to the Illinois Science + Technology Park.  Check back often for further updates about the new Swift Station.
