Your Vote counts!  Consider the following facts:

In 1645, ONE vote gave Oliver Cromwell control of England.

In 1649, ONE vote caused Charles I to be executed.

In 1783, ONE vote determined that English, instead of German, would be our official language.

In 1765, Patrick Henry introduced an anti-stamp tax resolution to the Virginia Assembly denouncing taxation without representation. It was adopted by ONE vote.

In 1839, ONE vote elected Governor Marcus Norton of Massachusetts.

In 1845, ONE vote brought Texas into the Union.

In 1868, ONE vote saved President Andrew Johnson from being impeached.

In 1876, ONE vote changed France from a monarchy to a republic.

In 1876, ONE vote gave Rutherford B. Hayes the Presidency of the United States.

In 1960, ONE vote per precinct would have elected Nixon instead of Kennedy as President.

In 1968, ONE AND ONE HALF votes per precinct would have elected Humphrey instead of Nixon as President.

In 2000, George W. Bush won the Presidency  by a very close margin.
