Skokie Lights the Night Photo Gallery
In support of the Village’s Skokie Spirit Shines Through campaign, the Skokie Public Library created the Skokie Lights the Night initiative. Every Wednesday night, residents are asked to turn on any kind of light in their front window, on the front porch or in the front yard every Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. The Library staff suggest trying a flameless candle, string lights, your smartphone light, a flashlight, a battery or solar lantern or simply turn on your porch light. Please don’t use regular candles! Take a picture and sent it to firstname.lastname@example.org for the Skokie Spirit Shines Through webpage.
