Step 1 - Preliminary Eligibility
The purpose of the preliminary eligibility application was to maximize the chances of identifying businesses that are potentially eligible for grants and to minimize the business owner’s up-front investment of time and documentation gathering.
Small business funding needs provided in the preliminary eligibility survey responses exceed available funding; therefore, Step 1 is now complete.
Step 2 - Funding Applications
Submitted funding applications are under review. No new funding applications are being accepted at this time. Please contact Leslie Murphy, Economic Development Specialist, at leslie.murphy@skokie.org, for Skokie small business inquiries, or Carrie Haberstich, Planner/CDBG Administrator, at carrie.haberstich@skokie.org, for Skokie CDBG program inquiries.
How to Obtain a DUNS Number
Step 2 of the application process will include providing a DUNS (Dun and Bradstreet) Number for your business. If your business does not already have a DUNS Number, please visit https://www.dnb.com/duns-number/get-a-duns.html.
