The owner or operator of a rental unit applying for registration must successfully complete the Village Residential Rental Property Landlord Seminar once every 5 years. These free information / training seminars began in June 2014.
Seminar Details
The seminars will be held at the Skokie Police Department on weekdays, evenings and Saturday mornings. Information on seminar dates, times, and registration processes may be mailed to owners/operators upon request and are also available below along with the Residential Rental Landlord Seminars (PDF) brochure.
Classes
To register for a 2022 Landlord Training Seminar, please complete the 2022-2023 Application (PDF) and return it to the Neighborhood Services Division per the instructions on the form. Classes have been scheduled for the following dates and times:
- Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 8:30 a.m. IN PERSON (register by April 17)
- Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 8:30 a.m. IN PERSON (register by May 29)
