Medication Recycling Program
The Village of Skokie offers two options for recycling unused or expired prescription and over-the-counter medications. A drop box is available in the lobby of Skokie Police Headquarters, 7300 Niles Center Road, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for prescription and over-the-counter medications in pill form, including controlled substances. This program is a collaboration between the Skokie Police Department and the Cook County Sheriff's Office. A medication drop-off also is available at the Skokie Health Department on the lower level of Skokie Village Hall, 5127 Oakton Street, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Health Department accepts all human or pet over-the-counter and prescription medications in pill form (not controlled substances), liquids and ointments, syringes and needles in sharps containers and inhalers.

Automated Red Light Enforcement Program
Red Light Camera Enforcement Information. You can pay online at www.payonlineticket.com, in person at the Skokie Village Hall, or by mailing the Notice Violation Liability Stub and your check or money order to Village of Skokie, PO Box 7642, Carol Stream, IL 60197-7642. Additionally, you may call 1-877-262-3318 to pay the violation over the phone.
