Pop-Up Pantry, Additional Food Available for Those in Need.
Beginning Tuesday, March 17, Niles Township Government will be distributing additional groceries to parents or guardians of children who usually receive free and reduced lunches at their schools.
Assembled boxes of groceries will be available to those parents from 11 a.m to 1:30 p.m. on both Tuesday, March 17, and Wednesday, March 18 at a NEW LOCATION: 8300 Lehigh Ave., Morton Grove. Parents/Guardians should come one of these days as each box includes a week’s worth of groceries.
In addition to our new “Pop-Up Pantry,” the supplemental boxes of groceries will also be available for distribution at the rear of the Niles Township Food Pantry (behind our Township building at 5255 Lincoln Ave., Skokie) between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 18. Dates and times for supplemental food distribution for the following week will be announced soon. Read more from the Niles Township website.
