In response to the State of Illinos stay-at-home order and physical distancing guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control, Skokie Village Hall, 5127 Oakton Street, and Skokie Public Works, 9050 Gross Point Road, will remain closed during the week of March 23, 2020.
The Village encourages patrons to conduct Village business online or over the telephone. Essential Fire, Police, 9-1-1 dispatch and Public Works services will continue to operate as normal.
Village Hall staff will continue to provide the high level of service the community is accustomed to, but with limited face-to-face interaction. Many Village services can be completed online via the Village’s website at www.skokie.org and requests can be submitted through the Access Skokie app or by emailing info@skokie.org. The Village has been notified that the Simple Recycling textile recycling pick up service is suspended until further notice. Recycling/refuse container lid and cart repair also are temporarily suspended.
