It is time again to kick off the annual Clean, Green Skokie! clean-up event. Please sign up to participate in a good old-fashioned neighborhood clean-up that runs through April 23, 2021. The Village will supply bags, gloves and vests for groups that sign up. If you are interested in signing up yourself, your family, your business or another group, please fill out the program form and email it to the Village.
Important safety tips:
- It’s suggested that members of the group are at least 10 years old
- An adult supervisor, at least 21 years old is required for every five members under the age of 18
- Participants must wear masks and practice social distancing if not from the same household, and to not participate if they feel unwell.
If the group consents, please take a photo of your group cleaning or posed with the filled bags of litter and tweet or post to Facebook #cleangreenskokie. Every group that participates will receive an entry to have a tree planted in their honor at a Village location. Any registered group that posts to social media will receive five extra entries!
