Beginning June, 7, 2021, the Illinois Department of Transportation will begin realignment at the intersections of Dempster Street and Skokie Bouvard, Dempster Street and Niles Center Road and the intersection of Niles Center Road and Skokie Boulevard. The work will consist of new traffic signals, road widening, milling and paving of asphalt pavement. The streets will remain open but expect traffic delays. The work is scheduled to be completed in 2022.
