Attention Skokie Senior Citizens! Please join the Skokie Police Department as we host our next TRIAD Meeting on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. in the training room at Skokie Police Headquarters, 7300 Niles Center Road. A presentation by the Skokie Fire Department will include information on topics such as:
- A brief overview of the Fire Prevention Bureau's role at SFD and in the community
- An overview of Illinois smoke alarm laws
- What seniors need to know about Skokie Fire Department’s ambulance service
- Equipment SFD utilizes to make their services safer and faster for members and the Skokie Community
- What it means for residents to have an accredited Fire Department
- Typical calls for assistance from the Skokie Fire Department and how the community can help reduce those calls
Refreshments will be served.
The purpose of the Triad Program is to increase lines of communication with senior citizens of the community. The group meets quarterly in order to provide a forum for ongoing dialog regarding the delivery of law enforcement services, community involvement, victimization and other pertinent topics.
