Utility disconnections has begun for the new Downtown Skokie Homewood Suites by Hilton hotel development at 4930 Oakton Street. As part of the construction, the left turn lane (westbound) and left through lanes on Oakton Street for eastbound and westbound will be closed between Niles and Lamon Avenues. The lane closures will be Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. to ensure the safety of both motorist and construction workers.
