Thanks to all Assist-A-Family (AAF) Program Donors that donated in 2022! In December, the Assist-A-Family program helped a total of 325 Skokie families facing financial challenges enjoy the winter holidays. The community’s generosity helps fund the AAF program, which includes both the annual winter holiday season gift-card support program and the ongoing emergency financial assistance program. These invaluable programs allow Skokie families struggling with limited financial resources to meet year-round household expenses and celebrate the winter holidays.
A total of 208 donors gave generously to the 2022 program, with a total of $31,853 in donations received to help Skokie families in need. This donation amount is a testament to the heart of the community, with residents giving generously to help their Skokie neighbors in need during this challenging time for so many. Donations for this program are accepted throughout the year.
