Nominate a Skokie Residence or Business for a Property Owner Award!

Each year, the Beautification and Improvement Commission seeks nominations from the community for both residential and commercial properties that are visually pleasing with an obvious sense of pride in ownership. Commissioners judge nominated properties based on overall appearance and condition, as well as landscape design and maintenance. Properties do not need to be elaborate - just well-maintained and visually pleasing. Commissioners carefully review all nominations and make site visits when determining the award recipients each year. Please consider nominating a neighbor, local business, condominium, school or house of worship. Self-nominations are encouraged! All nominations must be received by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, August 1. Please mail the completed form so that it arrives by August 1, 2019, to:

Applications may be also be emailed to cathy.stevens@skokie.org. The signed nomination form should be in a pdf file and photos in a jpeg file. If you do not have a digital camera, the Commission will take a photo after receiving the application.
