The Skokie Fine Arts Commission hosted a packed house at Take Flight Spirits (8038 Lincoln Ave) for the October 18 storytelling event, Ghosted. The audience was treated to some scary stories as five speakers shared their original true tales of being ghosted in both the traditional and more “modern” sense of the word.
Local photographer Rich Cahan captured photos of the event as part of the Village’s ‘Skokie Snapshot’ photo series.
This was the second storytelling event hosted by the Commission at Take Flight. In February, storytellers shared their tales of Love Lost and Found. Judging by the enthusiastic reception on Wednesday night, it won’t be the last!

Ghosted is only one of many great events on the Skokie Arts and Humanities Month calendar. Take in some artwork at (northern) Western Exhibitions, a performance at Devonshire Cultural Center, an exhibit at the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center, an open house at the Midwest Clay Guild, and more.
