Pramod Shah was elected as Village Clerk in 2013 after serving four years as a Village of Skokie Trustee. He holds a Master's degree in Chemistry from Gujarat University and attended the Indiana Northern School of Management.


Mr. Shah worked as a Manager for Cyberbridge International, a Skokie-based software and information technology consulting company. He has a long-standing relationship with the local Indian community, is the Executive Director and the past President of the Indo-American Democratic Organization and a current member of the Jain Society of Metropolitan Chicago. Mr. Shah also was Vice Chair for the Skokie Caucus Party and a Gandhi Memorial Trust board member.


Prior to becoming a Village Board member, Mr. Shah was appointed Niles Township Collector in 1999. In 2001 he was elected to that position, and in 04-2005, he was elected as a Niles Township Trustee. Born in Gujarat, India, Mr. Shah moved to the United States in 1971 and has lived in Skokie for more than 30 years with his wife, Usha and two sons. Both sons attended school in Skokie School Districts 68 and 219. He has been a proud member of both the Skokie Kiwanis and Lions Clubs for the past 10 years.
